These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website rentagent.cleaning and the commercial cleaning services provided by Rent-A-Gent LLC through its RentAgent.cleaning division (referred to as "RentAgent," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. About RentAgent

RentAgent.cleaning is a commercial cleaning brand operated by Rent-A-Gent LLC, a company incorporated in the State of Illinois. We provide contract-based commercial facility cleaning services including daily janitorial cleaning, day porter services, deep cleaning, and event support for institutions, schools, and businesses in the Chicago metropolitan area.

2. Use of This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

→ Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site or its infrastructure

→ Transmit any unsolicited commercial communication or malicious code

→ Scrape, copy, or reproduce site content without our written consent

We reserve the right to terminate access to the website for any user who violates these Terms.

3. Service Quotes and Agreements

Submitting a quote request, contact form, or inquiry through this website does not constitute a binding service agreement. All cleaning services are governed by a separate written service agreement signed by both parties, which will specify scope of work, service schedule, pricing, and contract duration.

Quotes provided verbally or through our website are estimates only and are subject to change following an on-site facility assessment. Final pricing is confirmed in the written service agreement.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are established in your individual service agreement. Standard terms include invoicing on a monthly basis with payment due within 15 days of invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late payments may be subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month (18% annually) on the outstanding balance, or the maximum permitted by Illinois law, whichever is less.

Rent-A-Gent LLC reserves the right to suspend services for accounts with invoices outstanding beyond 30 days, without liability for any resulting disruption.

5. Service Cancellation and Modifications

Service cancellations or modifications must be submitted in writing (email or written notice) to RentAgent at least 30 days prior to the requested change date, unless otherwise specified in your service agreement.

Emergency cancellations (e.g., facility closure due to emergency) will be handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to charge for any resources already committed for a scheduled service visit.

6. Our Responsibilities

Rent-A-Gent LLC agrees to perform all services with reasonable skill, care, and professionalism using trained, uniformed, and supervised staff. We carry general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage for all personnel performing services at your facility.

We will not be responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions at your facility, nor for damage resulting from factors outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, facility infrastructure failures, or access restrictions.

7. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the facility during scheduled service hours; inform us of any hazardous materials, restricted areas, or special access requirements before service begins; maintain a safe working environment for our staff; and ensure that all necessary approvals and authorizations are in place for us to perform the agreed services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rent-A-Gent LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our website or services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, service names, and the RentAgent.cleaning and Rent-A-Gent brand identity — is the exclusive property of Rent-A-Gent LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any site content without our prior written permission.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
